It would depend on why you are having the nuclear stress test and what the test shows to determine if and when it should be repeated. You should ask your cardiologist this question since they know your individual circumstance and can determine what is right for you! Good luck to you!

Only if determined to be medically necessary.If you have any of the risk factors for coronary disease such as a strong family history, high cholesterol or symptoms suggestive of coronary disease, you may need the tests repeated at your physician's recommendation. If your previous stress test was ordered by your family physician, he/she will be familiar with the need for the test and advise you.
