5 days ago i had nasal congestion i sprayed zicam extreme congestion relief in one nostril and it burned, i looked closer and the bottle had expired a year ago. since then i have not been able to smell or taste anything and my congestion is now gone?

The nasal congestion could have been Covid infection which is associated with loss of smell and taste. It would be prudent to get tested for Covid at your earliest.
