Recurring tendonitis: Tendonitis may recur. That said there may be a more significant injury. You should see a hand specialist.

Wrist pain: Hard to say. Maybe there is a structural issue that leads to flare ups on occasion. I would see a hand surgeon if the symptoms are significant enough.
