I moved into a place with a cat, i think im allergic, i was itchy, and runny nose and puffy eyes and im not too sure but felt like breathing is affected. question is that if i put the cat outside and dont let it come in am i ok then? how long?

Cat dander does not break down over time like viruses, chemicals and vapors. The dander can last for years if it is not removed. It gets embedded in the carpeting, curtains walls and other porous surfaces and must be washed out.
