By your count ("3 weeks then two weeks"), five to six weeks after a pregnancy (including ectopic pregnancies) will usually be time for resumption of menses. If the bleeding continues beyond expected for a period, see your gyn surgeon for an exam and a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy.
