Yes many. Check with your local Dr who knows what is going around. My guess most will want a sputum culture so they and you know the best antibiotic. And be certain you have pneumonia and not just a virus that does not respond to antibiotics such as COVID 19. If you are short of breath more than usual go to ER Now if exposed to COVID-19. Or unvaccinated for it.

There are antibiotics that can be given intramuscular if so needed, given iv mostly in the hospital setting. In case you believe you have a COPD flare best would be to have an exam with your doc in order to decide if antibiotics are needed as in your case the risk for side effects seems to be higher.
