In Keratoconus, the cornea of the eye bulges outward in an irregular fashion. This can result in blurry or distorted vision, increased sensitivity to bright light or glare, cloudy vision, or even just a rapid deterioration in your eyeglasses prescription. Treatment begins with eyeglass or contact lens wearing, and may progress to the need for surgical intervention.
