Clarification: What do you mean by the top of the eye? Eye lid or the eyeball? Keratoconus is a corneal disease that effects the lower part of cornea. It causes irregular astigmatism (steepness) of the cornea. You also mention elevated liver enzyme which does not cause keratoconus.. Hard contact lens will help

I was diagnosed with keratoconus in one eye & given a scleral contact for that eye only last week. Why when I wear the lens, I can see out of each eye individually but when looking through both eyes together, I feel cross-eyed & my vision is blurry?
