Why do other people find it so painful to hit their funny bone but i don't find it that painful but other people do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

What people call the"funny bone" is actually the ulnar nerve that in most people is deep in the bony groove of the elbow. In some people the nerve travel out of a smaller than normal groove and is irritated by object its contacts with any force. Most people have a deep enough groove to protect the nerve. Some have a shallow groove and will be sensitive to minor contact ie funnybone feeling
