IF IT HURTS IT IS A CANKER SORE,AN ABSCESS FROM AN INFECTED TOOTH,OR A GUM ABSCESS FROM GUM DISEASE. EITHER WAY SEE YOUR DENTIST FOR TREATMENT.

Probably an infection. Must receive treatment as soon as possible as can spread to other organ systems and it can be exceptionally dangerous. Cost will differ according to the extent of your disease. You will have to be seen bye a Dentist for examination, imaging, possible lab tests, to determine cause of infection and appropriate Rx.
