More often than not, muscle spasms/cramps are the result of exceeding a muscles endurance and muscle deconditioning. For that reason, the best form of treatment is exercise that not only increase his endurance, but also increases strength/power. Ultimately, this will provide greater stability for the back and reduce further development of lower vertebral irregularities and misalignment.
