Im finishing a 6 day low dose course of prednisone the day before im meant to get a tattoo. is it ok to get my tattoo since i wont be continuing the prednisone usage?

Prednisone can suppress the immune system & make it harder to fight off infections, however if you’ve just had a short course & low dose it would probably be fine to proceed with tattoo if it will be done under sterile, safe conditions by an experienced artist. On the other hand, a tattoo is an elective procedure so waiting a week or so to be on the safe side would be reasonable

Prednisone is a steroid It adversely affects both healing and immune response. it is best to wait a couple of weeks prior to having a tattoo.
