A member asked:

Whenever i walk too much, my lower legs start to hurt then the pain radiates up. the dull pain turns into bad pain, & only sleeping it away relieves. hurts so bad to move, and it doesnt feel like a pull. what could be wrong? been going on for 3 yrs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

In an older person, I would consider either vascular claudication or neurogenic claudication. But at age 17, wonder about a peripheral neuropathy or even a metabolic muscle disease. If it has been 3 yrs, see a neuromuscular specialist, and explore these possibilities.
