A member asked:

I had the pfizer vaccine couple months ago, im fully vaccinated but never had any symptoms with the vaccine. maybe a slight headache lasted an hr after the 2nd one. was this not an effective immune response? is my immune system underwhelming?

The present data about vaccine generated antibody has given Pfizer a 90+% success rate whether you have symptoms/side effects with the shots or not. Newer data on variants document risk of ICU level hospitalization when fully vaccinated is about 1/28,000.

Some people have a strong reaction to the Covid-19 vaccine and some do not. This has no bearing on whether your immune response was effective or not. The vaccines we have available have been shown to be over 90% effective and even more against severe disease, death, or hospitalization. The new variants may lessen the overall efficacy, but it is still well over 90% against severe disease.
