A member asked:

I know that side effects from covid vaccines show a person's immune system is working as it should, but i'm honestly nervous about the possibility of side effects once my turn to be vaccinated rolls around. how likely are side effects w/each version?

Mild aches and low grade fever are the usual effects and are easily controllable by acetaminophen. The side effects of immunization are trivial to what can happen with infection. I took the vaccine as soon as it became available. Wish you good health!

Vast majority have a sore shoulder where injected for 2-3 days. All versions have varying additional reactions, such as low grade fever, muscle aching, mild loss of appetite, general malaise, again very time limited. Severe or dangerous reactions have been very rare indeed.
