I believe there is significant potential for interaction between amitriptyline and Ganaton(promotes intestinal motility)& I wonder whether palpitations are a side effect of taking the 2 meds. I recommend checking this with your pharmacist. Instead try avoiding gassy foods&beverages. Take simethicone 1/2 hour after meals and at bedtime to prevent bloating.
