Various causes: Upper abdominal bloating with tenderness and associated back discomfort could be due to simple dyspepsia, gastritis, peptic ulcer, hiatal hernia, gall bladder disorder and even pancreatic problems. If symptoms persist, see your pcp examine you and order appropriate tests.
