I have had random pain in my lower right/back and sometimes left abdomen (for 5 days) and i went to the er and my vitals and tests were normal and appendix was not seen on the xray but the pain is still there. they saw stool backed up on the xray?

How were your bowel movements in the previous 5 days? If you are constipated, the symptoms are consistent with X-ray (I assume you had CT of the abdomen and pelvis - appendix was not seen) findings that you have severe constipation. You will need laxative for now but later you need to avoid recurrence by exercise, good hydration and eating high fiber foods.
