You need to speak with the doctor who prescribed the medicine before stopping since that doctor will know your eye pressures and the risk of stopping. In the meantime, try not to get the medicine on the skin beneath your eyes and wash the area with soap/water if the medicine gets on this area. This may prevent the discoloration beneath your eyes. There are other drops that can be used instead of the Lumigan. Timolol and Dorzolamide are two other eyedrop medicaitons that lower the pressure and might be substituted for the Lumigan. I would not change your drop regimen, however, without first discussing it with the doctor that prescribed the drops. Also, I would check the eye pressure on the new drops.
