The cancer of the patient that the needle stick was exposed to is genetically keyed to that person. If cells were introduced into your body, even if alive, would trigger your immune system to kill them off. Nothing to worry about.

What you described would not transmit cancer to the person receiving the needle stick. You can reduce your risk of cancer by adopting healthy habits: Eat a mostly vegetarian diet, avoid alcohol, tobacco and street drugs, avoid excessive exposure to sun, get HPV vaccine, exercise 30 minutes each day, drink enough water so your urine is mostly colorless.
