Is it normal to start a period on the same day as the last dose of prometrium, or is it a sign of something wrong?

You have not stated how long did you take this medication? If this month is the first time you take it, it could be an adverse effect or an early period, hard to tell. You just have to observe the bleeding for now, assume it is a breakthrough period. If bleeding seems not consistent with a normal period, you should consult your GYN. See your doctor if you have been on this med for a long time.
