A 38-year-old female asked:
Disclaimer

hi there, so if your uterine lining is thick, it doesn't really mean, you have cancer, right? could be just hiperplasia? i took prometrium for 10 days and the 11th was the first day of my period, but today, the 24th, after i thought it stopped on the 17th

Hyperplasia.: Endometrial thickening means exactly what it says-- the lining of your uterus is thick. It does not mean you have cancer! At 38, that's very unlikely. Taking estrogen or having high estrogen levels can increase endometrial thickness and lead to cancer, but usually in women over age 60. Take a deep breath!
