There are several procedures which could be done for relieving the chronic pain so you do not have to rely on daily medications (trigger point muscle injections, botulinum toxin injections, intraarticular injections, or surgery, such as arthrocentesis, arthroscopy, arthroplasty or TMJ reconstruction)

You have been treating symptoms. What you need to do is determine cause and treat the cause(s). You need to see dents-facial pain specialist. See an Oral Pathologist, an Oral Surgeon, or an Orthodontist, any of which can begin the diagnostic process.
