Immunocompromised?: do you have any other medical conditions such as diabetes or HIV that would make it harder for your body to heal?..if so your doctor may need to give you a longer course of treatment

Candida: if truly candida infection (yeast) antibiotics will not help. Antifungal will. clotrimazole, ketoconazole, ciclopirox. Please review diagnosis with your treating provider. If it is truly a candida infection, antibiotics won't help unless there is a bacterial infection present with the candida infection. In that case need antibiotic and antifungal treatment at same time. Hope this helps. Dr R
