Had a mole removed - pathology report came back severely dysplastic. 1) is it always normal to go back to get margins cut out? 2) just to be clear severely dysplastic does not mean cancer?

"Severely dysplastic" is not Melanoma but close . Yes, I would fully agree for a local small re-excision to be done . Will be curative
