When used correctly, the hormonal vaginal ring is very effective. (91-99%) equivalent to other contraceptive methods including birth control pills, condoms and IUD. Combining this method with the pull out method, and there is very little likelihood of pregnancy.

Pregnancy is not likely in above circumstances. Pull out remains a suboptimal method, contraception remains otherwise key in avoiding undesired pregnancy and associated anxiety, specifically when intercourse becomes possible.
