Im due to get my monthly b12 injection tomorrow, but im currently on cefpodoxime for a bad uti. is it ok to get the injection while on antibiotics? will it make the antibiotic any less effective?

No known interaction between B 12 and Cefpodoxime, vitamin B12 will not make the antibiotic less effective. Make sure your treating physician is aware of all your current conditions and treatment.

Agree with Dr. P. You can safely take your B12 shot. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Get HPV and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!
