Is it safe to do psychedelic assisted therapy while taking trazadone 100mg daily for sleep? i also take celexa 10 mg. any input is greatly appreciated?

Psychedelic therapy with psilocybin is still in clinical trials and not FDA approved for MDD, but it has gained "breakthrough status" by the FDA. A majority of patients who tried it showed rapid benefit, but further studies are needed. The response may be due to activation of serotonin receptors in the prefrontal cortex. If you take Celexa and Trazodone, you may be at risk for excess serotonin.
