A member asked:

I didn't drink much water for weeks. then, after hydrating for days, my calcium revealed to be 10.6 (range 8.3 - 10.3) and my albumin levels 5.5 (range 3.5 - 5.1). slightly elevated sodium too. everything else is normal. how concerned should i be?

You are still not well hydrated. You should drink enough water every day so that your urine is mostly colorless. Your albumin and sodium levels suggest continuing dehydration. You may repeat the test after a month of sufficient water intake every day, including the morning of the test.
