A member asked:

Should i be concerned about 5.9 albumin, 1.3 bilirubin, 10.7 calcium, and 130 glucose? technically i didn't fast because i had half a bagel an hour or so before. but days prior to the bloodtest, i had been eating or drinking much of anything?

A fasting glucose level involves at least 8 hrs of NO food or sugary food intake. It is likely that the bagel has created a false positive elevation. Ask your doctor to repeat the study with you in full compliance, as this could avoid a potential diabetes workup.

Your albumin is high and dehydration is often a cause. Your calcium is also elevated &warrants a repeat testing along with a serum parathyroid hormone level(PTH) to check for hyperparathyroidism although the high albumin may be the cause of high calcium. Drink plenty of fluids daily. If any of the repeat tests are abnormal, an endocrinologist is best to consult for evaluation, testing and advice.
