Hi. i lit a cigarette about 2 weeks ago that had a weird taste, my fiance hit it to see if he tasted anything, anyhow we have both been very sick coughing up mucas/no appetite. went to dr. and on amox x klav. not any better, should i get blood work?

Viral infections, especially Covid and hepatitis viruses can affect taste and other sensations. The bad taste from smoking is likely and indication of an underlying illness and you need to see a doctor for an investigation. This applies to both of you. Wish you good health!
