Respiratory Illness: Not uncommon to have your senses of taste, smell, and hearing be altered when you have an infection. Takes time for the antibiotics to work and sometimes it is actually a virus causing the symptoms so the antibiotics don't really help with that. Over the counter decongestants may help but really the best medicine for the senses/ symptoms is time.
