A member asked:

I recently had a xray fo lower back pain, some of the results showed disc space narrowing at level l2-3, mild scattered endplate spurring and degenerative changes without acute nauseous injury. what does this mean fo my back pain. thanks?

Translation= you have an old back where the bones are frayed & disks between vertebrae are not as plump as they were when younger. That means the space between vertebrae is narrower & may/may not impinge on nerves that exit from the spinal cord. It means little without the correlation of a history and exam. By itself it could be an incidental x-ray of a person that age with no symptoms at all.
