A member asked:

I had to fast for a blood test at 9:30 am. i told the nurse i accidentally ate a chocolate at 10 pm the night before & she said it's ok. but now i'm thinking that maybe i ate it at 12 am. how could this affect the results? what to do?

Relax. Fasting for at least 8 hours before the test will produce reliable results.

An eight hour fast is sufficient for most tests. Even blood lipids require only a 9 hour fast. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Get HPV and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!
