A member asked:

What does there is deformity of the tail of pancreas without abnormal attenuation within the pancreas mean ???

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Your study showed normal attenuation or similar intensity as the rest of the pancreatic tissue. Some tumors show less attenuation. Your physician should sit down with the radiologist and ask what could cause the deformity, what other studies, if any, could shed further light on the abnormality seen, and what kind of specialist to consult to help in the workup.
