Had mri 1yr ago & found pancreatic cyst in tail. had follow up mri and said stable 4mm likely represent side branch ipmn in tail. follow up mri - 1 yr. im scared and wonder if thats what it is? what does likely represent mean?

Likely, means probab: This report is not worry some, so you can relax as 4 mm structures are too small to make much about. The main issue I have is why was the MRI done in the first place? If you do not have any symptoms, then there is little reason to worry about this finding. If you are still worried, ask your doctor to repeat the mRI in 4-6 months time instead of waiting for one year.
