Yes you should be concerned of new onset diabetes and having a family history of diabetes put you at risk for developing diabetes . You should consult your physician for diabetic screening... Get your hemoglobin a1c done and that will give you an idea whether or not you are at risk of developing diabetes.

Advise recheck sugar: A single reading of high blood sugar is not entirely reliable. So i would advise you to recheck your sugar(fasting)one more time before you can trust it.If it is still high and over 100 mg, then you need to go see your doctor to confirm it and obtain another blood test(called hemoglobin a1c) which will make it very certain and more definite.
