About a week ago my ovaries started to hurt. each taking turns to pain. went to gyn today but she said it's normal for ovary to hurt. this is new to me though. please advise what tests can be run?

That's news to me also. Has a pelvic ultrasound been done? Can you be sure that the pelvic discomfort is not from actual ovarian pathology, endometriosis, pelvic congestion or pelvic inflammatory disease? Perhaps you'd like a second opinion from another gynecologist.
