No: Most women feel better on estrogen because it helps their symptoms, they sleep better with less hot flashes or night sweats. Some Progesterone pills can cause fatigue and appetite loss, and estrogen is given with Progesterone if you still have a uterus. There are many options for hormone replacement, you may want to talk to your provider about a different type or dose.

Not really: Usually estrogen is mood elevating. Sometimes testosterone can help the estrogen work better and improve energy level. How do you feel off the estrogen altogether? Better or worse?
