Endoscopy: stomach, duodenal bulb & second portion of the duodenal is normal. impression also states: z-line irregular, 38cm from the incisors. now will wait for biopsy result (am very anxious) could it be gerd and/or more serious like barret's?

You just have to wait for biopsy result. In general, an irregular Z line is commonly present in Barrett's esophagus. (Irregular Z-lines often lead to a diagnosis of Barrett's esophagus, according to a study published by the National Institutes of Health).
