Ive had brown discharge (no odor) for a few days, 2 months in a row, both on cycle day 16-17 out of 26. does the timing signify something? ive had spotting before, but something like once every 1-2 yr. my last hpv test (5 yr ago) was clear?

If sexually active, cervical inflammation can cause light bleeding ("brown discharge"). HPV "five years ago" may not rule out subsequent infection, but may not cause the present issue. See your gyn physician for an exam and further testing.
