Was unable to take a full breath when lying on my left side. since ceased, prodding area 2 ins in from sternum beside and under breast and area is tender to touch and burning sore when stretching. all began after stretching back. mammo in jan all ok?

Could have a non displaced crack in the rib or pleuritic, cracked rib will be quite sore to touch. Laying on that side will be painful as well preventing you from taking a full breath.
