Possible reflux: You may want to talk to your physician about possible gastroesophageal reflux disease. GERD caused by increased gastric acid into the esophagus. The initial sore throat may have been your first symptoms which has now progressed to the pain you feel. Follow up with your doctor and discuss this as a possible explanation of your symptoms.
