When you receive impression such as : status post c3-c6 anterior cervical disc fixation with multilevel degenerative changes. interval decompression of the spinal canal at c3-c4 and c4-c5. moderate canal stenosis at c2-c3. a new finding...prior scan?

With such findings, one should at least, see The Spine Specialist. Also the ordering physician must have clinical reasons for the orders and those should be discussed with him or her for best management and appropriate referral

I would gather these are postoperative films to check stability and healing. There maybe some postoperative changes contributing to the "canal stenosis" but would have no clue if these findings were present previously. Have the radiologist discuss your images and point out changes over time.
