Do not fully appreciate need for repeat MRI, unless the neurologist found an abnormality on exam. Since I have NO CLUE why repeat ordered, would urge you to meet with doctor and have a specific detailed explanation. There are many reasons for headaches, and hopefully the differential diagnostic possiblities will be covered, so ask about these. Make a list of questions, as you deserve answers.

I usually tell people this. Whenever you ask the question "is it possible" the answer is almost always "yes". That being said, I don't believe the likelihood of finding a physical abnormality in the brain as the root cause is high. There are exceptions. Most "lesions" at one point start off small before growing larger (and could have been missed). Many headaches will not show a physical cause.
