I have been experiencing muscle weakness (legs and arms), all-over twitching and back pain in several spots, so i had autoimmune testing done. i had a positive ana of 1:160 with dfs70 pattern. the result of ena was negative. what could cause this?

Did you mean DNA negative, not ENA? I do not know what ENA is. If DNA antibody is (-), you do not have systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) as the cause of muscle problem. People who have positive ANA with DFS70 pattern are less likely suffering from ANA associated rheumatic diseases. You will likely need more tests for the definite diagnosis. Neurology and rheumatology consult may be necessary.
