I had a lumbar puncture yesterday (6/22) at 16:30. today at 11am i accidentally strained during sex orgasm triggering a pretty intense head pressure headache. it quickly subsided but i was left with a constant dull headache. should i be concerned?

I will be concerned, since Lumbar puncture may have affected your CerebroSpinal fluid ( ? leak), it was not a good idea to be sexualy active the same day, better to have rested 16-24 hours ,preferably Supine position, Please consult the Doctor who did your Lumbar puncture.

After lumbar puncture you should avoid strenuous activities in 24-48 hours and sexual activity is one of them. The headache is likely due to spinal fluid leak and it is usually limited. You should rest completely in the next 24 hours, take OTC med as needed for headache. If headache persists or get worse more than 48 hours, please contact the doctor who did the procedure for advice. Hydrate well.
