Dehydration can cause muscle cramp but not major joint pain. There is no causal relationship between constipation and musculoskeletal pain. Just take Ibuprofen 200 mg x2 tablets (OTC) every 6-8 hours as needed for the pain for 1-2 days. If pain does not resolve by then, see your doctor. Hydrate well and eating foods high in fiber for alleviating constipation.
