Is saline nasal wash beneficial for inferior turbinates hypertrophy? i dont know the reason for the swollen turbinates, doc recommends smd surgery?

Saline wash may not improve hypertrophy symptoms unless mucus is accumulating there. Consult your ENT doctor. Even if the surgeon recommends surgery, you do not have to agree. Ask about risks, benefits, and alternatives. If unhappy, get a second opinion
