Is it true that for someone who has received first shot of astrazeneca covid-19 vaccine th second shot of pfizer vaccine will provide better protection as opposed to receiving second shot of astrazeneca vaccine again?

No, there is no literature to support that notion but you can do that if the second (booster) shot is not available. However, there is limited data which showed that after 2 shots of Pfizer or Moderna but an immunocompromised person could not mount strong antibody, a third shot with Johnson vaccine may help.
